"Alien Conquest"

This was made with cardboard cut-outs.
I filmed the cars with the background upright.
The UFO's were filmed with the background flat on the table.
The fire was filmed in the backyard....

Rotoscoping

Here's the 2 rotoscoping animations I recently finished:

I don't mind that one but it is kinda "lazy". I much prefer the second one I animated:

"Slice Of Hand LEGO Stop Motion

This is my latest animation. (Yes, once again with Lego. But hey - it ain't Star Wars so get over it haha.... although my next maybe after watching Robot Chicken Star Wars 3) I totally prefer Stop-Mo. Not sure why but it is a beacon I shall sail my boat towards and either sink or grab as many short-shorts as I can and swim for it (obviously a Simpsons reference :D) This is so far my best effort. Some of the stop-mos I've done have been purely photo based (800-8000-ish) but when using dialogue a single photo can be used. I don't think dialogue cheapens it (look at all the common shows eg Simpsons, Futurama, Family Guy, American Dad) they all use single frames with just the mouths moving. Something I never noticed until I starting studying it. I dunno where this rant is going ecxept that it is making me really enjoy my new chosen career path :D

"The Park" Lego Stop-Motion

Gday, been a while but this is the latest from me....
Now I know Ian hates us using the word "crappy" to describe our animations but this time I have a legitimate cause for arguement....

After a chat in class with Zade about how crappy videos always get the hits whereas the good ones get left behind.... so I guess I can use the word 'dodgy' then....haha
I'm not saying this is a good one either haha. The camera shakes are annoying but have since been solved with a remote control which I can also use to do pixilations with now as well. :D

I hope the link works.... I used Flash entirely for the project this time, it makes lip-sync alot easier as it can be done in real time - something I haven't been able to do until now. :D I had issues with the sound files but after a few days I worked it out. Starting to build the set for the next one....

"Plastic" Boss Hominid LEGO Stop Motion

This is a music video I've been working on for a while but finally finished it.
There's a few 'in jokes' and yes - the Village People.
I made this for a couple of mates to help get them a bit more exposure.

"Plastic" Lego Stop Motion

This is a video I'm currently plugging along with and is near (touchwood) completion. It's a music video with a series of short scenes strung together.
I filmed between 2 photos in the disco scene to show what happens....

Bouncing Ball (of fur)

This is my finished "Bouncing Ball" project.
Not sure why the body outline has 'dots' but the rest is fine....
